Apple Picking
Image description 1 (from the artist): A rectangular quilt. On the edge is a pink striped border. Three figures stand side by side. The first is a young girl in denim overalls and a striped pink shirt. She has short brown hair tied into a small ponytail at the top of her head. She is reaching into a wooden bucket of apples, with her hand placed on top of an apple. The second figure appears to be the same girl in overalls and with brown hair, yet now you can see her pink and red laced shoes. She is smiling gently while closing her eyes. She faces to her right and is holding an apple in each hand. The third figure is also the same girl. She is holding an apple in her left hand and a empty wooden basket in her right. She is facing to her right as well and looks away so we can’t see her face. Around each of the figures is red dotted stitching outlining their shape. In the background of the quilt are 3D pink flowers attached. There are small dark blue plus signs stitched in the background as well. The base background fabric is white and slightly wrinkled. In the right hand bottom corner is a stitched signature that says “byM”.
Image description 2: Large rectangular image of a toddler playing with apples. The quilt is soft and depicts 3 figures, maybe of the same little girl, around 2 years old. She has a tuft of cute hair tied up on top of her head and patched dungarees and is apple picking with great fun and curiosity. Maybe this is her first time. In the first image, she is trying to stack one more apple onto an overfilled giant wooden bucket of red shiny apples. The second image shows her turning around as she is holding one in each hand. In the third image, she has a little toddler sized apple basket that she is diligently filling. In the background there are small flowers all around.
